วันที่ 7 สิงหาคม 2568 STIPI จับมือ World Bank ลงนามความร่วมมือเพื่อยกระดับศักยภาพและขับเคลื่อนระบบวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม (วทน.) ของประเทศไทย ดร.แบ๊งค์ งามอรุณโชติ ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันนโยบายวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม (STIPI) มจธ. ได้เข้าพบคุณ Melinda Good ผู้อำนวยการธนาคารโลกประจำประเทศไทยและเมียนมา ณ สำนักงานธนาคารโลกประจำประเทศไทย เพื่อลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) สนับสนุนและส่งเสริมงานวิจัยและกิจกรรมทางวิชาการด้าน วทน. อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม โดยให้ความสำคัญกับการทำงานร่วมกับหน่วยงานและผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียในระบบ เพื่อขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจและสังคมไทยให้เข้มแข็งและยั่งยืนจากการใช้นวัตกรรม นับเป็นก้าวสำคัญของ STIPI ที่ได้ร่วมเป็นภาคีเครือข่ายกับองค์กรระดับโลก.
Today (August 7, 2025), the Science Technology and Innovation Policy Institute (STIPI) under King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) and the World Bank have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation on science, technology, and innovation for sustainable development.
The MoU was officially signed by Dr. Bank Ngamarunchot, Director of STIPI, and Ms. Melinda Good, World Bank Division Director for Thailand and Myanmar.
This is the first-ever MoU between the World Bank and a university policy institute in Thailand, marking an important milestone in transferring global knowledge into practical policy implementation.
The partnership aims to support Thailand’s progress toward becoming a high-income nation by promoting research, encouraging knowledge sharing, and developing innovative policy approaches. The collaboration will tackle pressing issues such as emerging disruptive technologies, poverty reduction, and inclusive economic growth.
