สถาบันนโยบายวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม (STIPI) มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี (KMUTT) และ National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia (BRIN) ร่วมกันจัดกิจกรรมวิชาการหัวข้อ “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Education in ASEAN Contexts”
โดยมี รศ. ดร.ปิติ ศรีแสงนาม Executive Director of the ASEAN Foundation กล่าวเปิดงาน ซึ่งเน้นย้ำถึงสถานการณ์ของ AI ในประเทศอาเซียนในปัจจุบัน และความสำคัญของความร่วมมือระหว่างหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องในการผลักดันการใช้ AI ด้านการศึกษาในระดับภูมิภาคอย่างมียุทธศาสตร์
ไฮไลท์ในงานประกอบด้วยการนำเสนอภาพรวมความพร้อมด้าน AI ของประเทศอินโดนีเซียโดย Dr. Nawawi (Head of the Research Center for Population, BRIN) และ Dr. Trina Fizzanty (Head of the Research Center for Education, BRIN) การบรรยายเกี่ยวกับมุมมองเปรียบเทียบในระดับภูมิภาคอาเซียน โดย ดร.แบ๊งค์ งามอรุณโชติ ผู้อำนวยการ STIPI
งานในครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นร่วมกันในการขับเคลื่อนการประยุกต์ใช้ AI ในการศึกษา ผ่านความร่วมมือระดับภูมิภาค และปิดท้ายงานด้วยพิธีลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) ระหว่าง STIPI และ BRIN เพื่อปูทางสู่ความร่วมมือระยะยาวในอนาคต

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Education in ASEAN Contexts, July 30, 2025
The Science Technology and Innovation Policy Institute (STIPI) at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) and the National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia (BRIN) co-hosted a joint event titled “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Education in ASEAN Contexts” on July 30, 2025, at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The event began with opening remarks from Dr. Piti Srisangnam, Executive Director of the ASEAN Foundation, who emphasized the current AI situation in ASEAN countries and how important collaborations from relevant agencies to strategically improve the use of AI in education at the regional level. Highlights included presentations on Indonesia’s AI readiness by Dr. Nawawi (Head of the Research Center for Population, BRIN) and Dr. Trina Fizzanty (Head of the Research Center for Education, BRIN), followed by an AI readiness and comparative perspectives from ASEAN classrooms shared by Dr. Bank Ngamarunchot from STIPI.
The event reflected a shared commitment to advancing AI in education through regional cooperation. It concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between STIPI and BRIN, paving the way for future collaboration.
